Diaristic practices
Durante os vinte e oito dias do mês de fevereiro de 2022, coletei vestígios de sono e sonho. A cada manhã, transformei imagens oníricas em texto e rastros da cama em imagens fotográficas. O dia e a hora de cada foto foram registrados cuidadosamente para compor as entradas deste diário que tem forma de livro de artista e se chama bedwork. Cada fragmento de texto oriundo das imagens oníricas compõe um texto maior, como se fosse a narrativa de um sonho que durou não apenas uma noite, mas vinte e oito dias.
During the twenty-eight days of February 2022, I collected traces of sleep and dreams. I turned dream images into text and bed traces into images each morning. The day and time of each photograph were recorded carefully and form the diary entries of this artist’s book called bedwork. Each fragment of text coming from the dream images takes part in a larger text, originating the narrative of a dream that lasted not only one night but twenty-eight days.
